Teochew Eatery in Hong Kong Chiu Hing Fishball Rice Noodles

I was wondering what is 鱼蛋 (yu dan) in Hong Kong. It's is actually what we call 鱼圆 (yu yuan) or fish ball. In the past, I thought Hong Kongers like to eat fish eggs.  if I were to translate 鱼蛋 (yu dan) literally, it is fish eggs.

In Hong Kong, due to small area, we had to share table with strangers. I was having my breakfast at one eatery and one local recommended this popular Teochew eatery popular for their fishball and beef brisket noodle. But since I don't eat beef, I decided to eat Hong Kong wanton noodles. Anyway in Singapore, I can eat lots of fishball noodles so I didn't try their signature dish, the fishball noodle.

As a Teochew, I like to support fellow Teochew so I went to Chui Hing Fishball Rice Noodles eatery at Wan Chai, Hennessy Road. It is about 10 minutes walk from Wan Chai MTR station. I had wanton noodle and a plate of vegetables. Dumpling is filled with fresh prawn and meat. Soup is refreshingly light with springy noodle. Next time, I be back to try their fishball rice noodles

This eatery is very popular. Expect to queue during lunch time.  I arrived at about 2pm, still there were many people queuing and we had to share table with strangers. It's really a popular eatery in Hong Kong.
